Dr. William J. Lee Sr

      He was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan to two Christian, Seventh-day Adventist parents, Mr. James Lee Jr., and Mrs. Jean Lee who at  an early age his instilled in him a strong desire to serve God. He was baptized at the age of 11 years old and has faithfully remained, and grown in the church ever since.

     Dr. Lee has served the Lake Region Conference for the past 15 years. He has Pastored the Trinity Temple SDA Church, in Kalamazoo, MI, the Jackson Summit church in Jackson, MI, Bethel SDA Church in Grand Rapids, MI, and most recently the Capitol City SDA Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.

     Before his call to ministry, Pastor Lee spent 1 year at Tuskegee University majoring in Chemical Engineering. However, in 1999 he felt to the call to ministry. Thus, he holds the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama; (Magna Cum Laude) a Master of Divinity Degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan; and he has earned the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Andrews University concentrating in Urban Ministries. His dissertation was entitled, “A strategy to increase African-American male membership in the Adventist Church.”

     Among the gifts and talents with which God has blessed Pastor Lee, none are more meaningful to him than preaching to, teaching, and loving the people of God. He has been blessed to carry the message of Jesus Christ across the country and seeks to uplift all humanity through the life-changing, uncompromising Word of God. Pastor Lee’s goal is simply to make “Jesus Christ famous” throughout the world.

  Dr. Lee also serves as the Director of Men’s Ministry for the Lake Region Conference of Seventh-day Adventist.

     He also currently serves as the host of a television show on 3ABN’s Dare to Dream Network called, “For Guys Only” which can be seen weekly throughout the world.

     Pastor Lee married his high school sweet-heart, Latoria Thomas. On June 27, of this year they will celebrate 17 years of marriage. Latoria holds a Master of Education degree in Adult and Higher Education with a concentration in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University. She currently serves as the Director of Career Services for the School of Public Health at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis, IN.

     The Lee’s have two children William Jeffery II (11 years old) and Christopher Joshua (7 years old).

     Any success achieved by Pastor Lee, is always attributed to the Hand of God, and to those people who have helped him along the way. One of his favorite Bible text is Romans 8:31 - “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”

     He enjoys basketball, tennis, long family walks, and Carnival cruises with his family.
